What are ghosts?



When we hear of ghosts, a silhouette of a transparent projection in human form usually comes into mind. Gliding as light as the wind, disappearing right before the naked eye. An embodiment of a dead person's appearance and character.

Is it just a product of one's clever mind or an illusive proof of how flesh and blood can surpass death? Why do some people still refuse to believe in their existence? Isn't it consoling to know that because life isn't absolute, death is not final?

FACTS_one.

If you can see a ghost, it can see you too. So that means, out of all the people in the whole world, they'll most likely prefer to have a word with you. Imagine if one keeps on wanting to let you know it's presence and the more you try to ignore, the more it persist. Ghost don't open their mouth to talk. They communicate through mind. Are sure your sane enough?

FACTS_Two.

Third eye can be opened through meditation and near death experience. Only a few were born with their third eye already opened. They'll most likely be able to cope better compared to those whose third eye is forced open. Please, don't ever have someone force your third eye open. 

Not all person with open third eye can see the same thing. There are level of vibrations and if you just let someone open it, chances are you'll more likely encounter lower level beings like the unrest spirits of those who committed suicide. And more probably than not, they'll have so much things to say that they'll rarely have enough time to leave you alone.

FACTS_Three.

The sound of the wind chime is a soothing reminder left by the passing wind. The calmness created by the banging of delicate metals blended with the rustling leaves may be one of the reasons you may be tempted to put one under your age old tree. But be warned, according to fung sui, it's not advisable to place a wind chime under a tree...because it attract spirits.

Ghosts are everywhere. You may have encounter several during this day...you just haven't noticed.

FACTS_Five.

There are more ghosts wandering inside a church than in a cemetery.

Ghost seldom haunts cemeteries. There are more ghosts inside the church. I'm not exactly sure why but maybe it has something to do with the blessing bestowed by the priest on the dead body...enabling the soul to detach from it's earthly vessel.

Ghost have personality and attitude which they retain back when they're still alive.

Have you ever notice why there seems to be more ghost in the building you're working at when it's raining compared to the usual days? What's in it with water?

FACTS_Eight.

There are ghosts who are not aware that they are dead. They may still be doing the same routine just as if they're alive. Oblivious to time, they are not aware that they are trapped in a loop. It's ironic but not being fully aware of the circumstances, for them, we as human beings are the ghosts.

When someone dear you passed away, he/she will most likely visit you.

Ghosts can invade you dream world.

Have that strange dream?  It could just  be your imagination, but then again, there could be something else.

FACTS_Eleven.

A sudden breeze can be a passing ghost. The coldness creeping on your skin can be a ghost's touch. A cold spot may indicate a ghost's presence. Although we have different realities, our path can intertwine at some point because we walk on the same earth.

FACTS_Twelve.

Ghosts may be attached to a place, an object, and rarely, to a person. 

More often, ghosts get attached to a material object. They may even be attached to a particular place and for some reason, unable to leave its boundaries. There are also wandering ghost who can follow a living person. 

I remember whenever we visit my grandmother at the cemetery; we'll jump over a burning paper afterwards in fear of being followed home by stray spirits.

On one instance when we were at the province, an elderly advice one of my colleague to wear red clothe when she go back home because there was a shadowy figure following her.

FACTS_Thirteen.

The spirit residing in your home could be?

@ The previous dead owner/occupant of the house.

@ Ghost you're unaware was included on the package of the second hand item you've bought.

@ Spirits summoned through rites like Ouija board.

@ Ghost that has followed you home.

@ Previous residents of the neighboring haunted house that was demolished.
